During her period of research and composition whilst in residence at the Goethe-Institut London and Somerset House Studios, Ellen Arkbro presents a collection of music that has influenced her practice, sharing insight into process and approaches to listening.

In January 2025, Arkbro embarked on a three-month international residency supporting the development of new work commissioned in collaboration with Goethe-Institut London and CTM Festival, to be presented at both Somerset House Studios' Assembly, a bi-annual series of experimental music and performance, and CTM Festival in 2026.

Grouding Practice is an artist-led series designed as a resource to access and share methodologies, research and works-in-progress. A rolling programme of workshops, presentations and peer-to-peer meetups, the series includes both recurring and one-off events. Shaped by Studios residents and members of the wider artistic and cultural community, each session explores different disciplines and themes.
