ACROSS GENERATIONS – Learning from Art, Culture, and One Another – All over the world, our modes of coexistence are undergoing major changes and dialogue between different age groups is of great importance in enabling people to live together in society. This brings various questions to the fore: How can younger and older people learn from one another in a process of mutual exchange? What subjects are of interest to younger and older people alike? What role might the museum and its collections play here?

Warum intergenerative Vermittlungsarbeit?


„Der Austausch zwischen Generationen umgibt und beschäftigt uns täglich, ob im privaten oder im beruflichen Umfeld. Der Umgang ist oftmals durch Regeln, Strukturen oder Traditionen geprägt. Im Projekt ACROSS GENERATIONS gehen wir der Frage nach, ob das Museum als Bildungsstätte ein geeigneter Ort für intergenerativen Austausch sein kann, wie dieser gestaltet sein muss und ob dabei gewohnte Bedingungen aufgebrochen werden können.“ (Patrick Presch)
