In SCORCHED EARTH, the second film of Thomas Arslan’s Trojan trilogy, career criminal Trojan returns to Berlin twelve years after fleeing the city. Now broke and struggling in a digitalized world, Trojan finds old contacts unhelpful. He finally gets a chance at a lucrative job: stealing a Caspar David Friedrich painting from a museum. The heist teams Trojan with getaway driver Diana, former mate Luca, and young Chris. However, the shadowy client and his henchman Victor have their own plans for the painting, turning the job into a fight for survival rather than just a money-making venture.
