We are welcoming the “rise of the robots”. Automation is driving some jobs to obsolescence, including high-level knowledge and creative jobs, heralding a world without work. Instead of bringing forth abundance, automation fosters anxiety as employment is directly connected to livelihood. What will shape our working lives in the future? What social movements are required to propel us into post-scarcity?
