Presentation on open cultural data in Indonesia

Online

The “Retas Budaya” webinar series presents practical information on how GLAM institutions (galleries, libraries, archives, museums) can use digital technology to make their cultural collections open access, encouraging reuse by visitors.

In this first edition, Hilmar Farid, Director General of Culture of the Ministry of Education and Culture Indonesia, will discuss the current situation of open cultural data in Indonesia.

What has the government done to support open cultural data that can be accessed and reused by the community? What is the government’s strategy for supporting open cultural data in the future?

This program is a cooperation between the Directorate General of Culture, Wikimedia Indonesia, the Indonesian Game Association, PT Elex Media Komputindo, and Goethe-Institut Indonesien.
