In this online seminar, two alumni from partner schools share their insights into studying in Germany and talk about having part-time jobs.

Studying in Germany entails a number of special challenges, ranging from the preparatory measures in your home country to the requirements to be met and the costs of staying in Germany. Students have a whole range of leisure activities available to them outside university, including membership in student organizations and part-time employment.

Six out of ten students in Germany have a part-time job; they work in retail, catering, in a company or a factory. The concept of “studying and working” is a favored option for many students in Germany. Apart the fact that a part-time job helps cover the high cost of living, it has many other advantages, especially concerning future employment. The concept gives students the opportunity to work part time on their way to an academic degree.

In this online seminar, Bimo and Ochi share their experiences as students in Germany while having part-time jobs. If you would like to know more about their everyday lives and the broad range of job opportunities for students in Germany, register now for this online seminar!
