To Meg Stuart, borders are irrelevant. Her artistic life began in the USA, today she lives in Berlin and with the location of her company Damaged Gods has a professional focus in Belgium. She works internationally.

Through "Performing Architecture", the Goethe-Institut is present at the Venice Biennale. Meg Stuart, who is being honoured for her life's work there, will stage her performance "Built to Last" and take part in a moving panel. In an interview, she speaks about her art and about things she hasn't dared to do yet. 

At the end of 2019, students from the University of Stuttgart, the Bandung Institute of Technology and the University of Melbourne participated in the Travelling Studio “The City In-Between, Designing with Urban Informality in Bandung, Indonesia”.

Entitled Intermedia Art Exploration, this edition of #AMAN Agenda Seniman features Bandung-based artist Etza Meisyara (born in 1991) and focuses on the term “intermedia” to describe her artistic journey and interests. What is intermedia art? How did intermedia art become the focus of her work?

The Goethe-Instituts from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam created a Zoom Safe Space for virtual knowledge exchange and discussions on the current state of the arts (post-)corona to support and network artists and cultural workers from their regions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
