Ruangrupa, a Jakarta-based artist collective, is curating the fifteenth edition of documenta 2022. The Goethe-Institut Jakarta is accompanying ruangrupa and the curatorial process of the exhibition with a loose series of videos and interviews.

 A new era of documenta with ruangrupa

An International Finding Committee announced in Kassel that the Indonesian artist collective ruangrupa will curate the documenta 15 in 2022.

This collection of materials documents the various aspects of the creation process of documenta15 from 2019 and ending in the spring of 2022. Accordingly, it makes no reference to the subsequent controversy that arose with respect in particular to the presentation of the banner "People's Justice" by Taring Padi.
