Online

We are delighted to welcome Torsten Schulz to our second international book club event in the new year. He will present his book Öl und Bienen.

The times when people in Beutenberge longed for the triumph of oil are long gone. Instead, Lothar Ihm and his friends only look forward to the next smuggled record from the West. But then a swarm of women on the search for husbands invade the Havelland provincial backwater, and nothing remains as it was. A wonderfully bizarre GDR novel about the persistence of old and new myths.

Everyone is welcome to take part in this live online event, and it is not required to have already read the book. Registration is free of charge and the discussion will be held in German.
