Kids' Films at the Goethe-Institut in Dublin

We will have showings of kids' movies at the Goethe-Institut Irland up to three times per term. The recommend for the movies will alternate from 0-7 and 7-12 years. The showings will take place on saturdays after the Kids' Courses, between 1.15 and 2.15 pm.

The film in November will be Emil und die Detektive (111 Min, 2001). Directed by Franziska Buch, starring Tobias Retzlaff, Anja Sommavilla, Jürgen Vogel, and Maria Schrader

Updated remake of the famous novel by Erich Kästner: On the way from a small town on the Baltic Sea to Berlin, 12-year-old Emil Tischbein is robbed by a thief. After arriving, he pursues the perpetrator and soon finds support from a gang of children led by Pony Hütchen, who organizes further help. A barely manageable group of children will hunt down the thief!
