Two Irish brother, Liam and Padraic, want to climb an unknown mountain in eastern Tibet. They immerse themselves in this mysterious country of nomads and nature, reflect on their past, the difficult family relationships, with a strict father whose sympathies lay with the IRA, and a mother who disappeared from their lives.
