Eva Menasse
(born 11.05.1970 in Vienna) journalist, author.
Eva Menasse studied German and history in Vienna and then worked as a newspaper and magazine editor. In 2000, she published all her reportages on the trial of Holocaust denier David Irving in her book Der Holocaust vor Gericht. Five years later, her first novel Vienna was published. Eva Menasse was awarded, among others, the Heinrich Böll Prize and in 2017 the Austrian Book Prize for her novel Tiere für Fortgeschrittene. She lives in Berlin.
