We hosted an informative session specifically tailored for school counsellors. Our partner organisation, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), also provided comprehensive insight into study and career opportunities for students in Germany.
The session comprised three segments:
Introduction Session - "Why German, Why Germany": This segment explored the compelling reasons why Germany is an excellent destination for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies. We highlighted the advantages of learning the German language, emphasized the benefits students can gain from immersing themselves in German culture, and provided guidance on initiating preparations for higher education in Germany.
Study Opportunities in Germany: Our partner organisation DAAD briefed school counsellors on the diverse pathways available for students to pursue bachelor's and master's degrees in Germany. We discussed available courses, highlighted scholarship opportunities, and outlined the essential documentation required for obtaining a visa, for example, a blocked account.
Professions in Demand in Germany: This segment offered valuable insights into the various professions currently in high demand across Germany's job market. We covered a spectrum of career options, ranging from environmentally conscious "green" jobs to critical roles in the healthcare sector, providing counsellors with crucial information to guide students towards different career paths.
