GERMAN CINEMA IN FOCUS is a monthly film screening series curated by Shivani at the Goethe-
Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Bangalore. The series will explore German Cinema movements and works of selected directors, understanding what defines the films, and their impact on film history.

Shivani is an independent filmmaker based in Bangalore. She has directed multiple short films and worked in various production departments. Beyond her cinematic pursuits, she also is very passionate about exploring every form of art that exists out there and sharing these artistic discoveries with others.
