Workshops and Outreach Programm

In image, as theatrical performance, through a song – how do you “perform” a poem through the text and outside of it? What are the possible media that can be used for poetry performance? In this workshop for poets writing in Hindi, Marathi, English, Urdu, Gujarati, Mamta Sagar introduces participants to poetry, performance and ‘translation activities’; which also means trans-creating a poetry text in other forms of art. Participants get a chance to witness and be part of an ongoing collaborative project between poet Mamta Sagar and musician Vasu Dixit.
