Andrea Fernandes

Andrea Fernandes is a writer and photographer from Bombay. She has a Master's Degree in Photographic Studies from University of Westminster, London.
Her personal work mainly stems from a long standing interest in the construction and representation of sexuality and gender. Since 2012, Fernandes has worked as a curator of photography and has been involved in various endeavours aimed at creating an active photographic community in the city with initiatives like Open Show Mumbai and BIND. She currently teaches photography at École intuit.lab in Bombay.
