Night-time events in the library
We invite you to the library of the Goethe-Institut Tokyo on April 4th from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Here you will have the opportunity to paint, craft, and listen to a reading of a children’s book. As part of the nationwide "Night of Libraries," in Germany you can also compete in a quiz with other participants or exchange book recommendations and stories on the theme of night and stars.
4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
In our painting and crafting corner, you have the opportunity to create your own bookmarks or decorative stars or color relaxing mandalas. Of course, free drawing is also possible at any time.
7:00 PM - 7:30 PM
In a quiz on the theme of night and stars, you can compete against other participants and test your knowledge.
8:00 PM - 8:30 PM
To conclude, a small picture book reading will take place outside under the starry sky (weather permitting).
In the library, you can make yourself comfortable and read books at your leisure. Card and board games are available at any time to play with family and friends. Individuals are also invited – we will find a partner to play with!
Small snacks and drinks will be provided, but you are also welcome to bring your own and enjoy them in the library.
