Als wir durch die leerstehenden Häuser in Riga liefen, ging mir auf, dass die Leere auch Leute zusammengebracht und zum Handeln angeregt hat. Ich begann, über geistige Leere nachzudenken: wie werden wir leer und kann die Leere wieder aufgefüllt werden? Um eine Antwort auf diese Frage zu finden, erfand ich ein leerstehendes Partyhaus, in dem Leute zusammenkommen und ihre Leere teilen.
About the comic
While walking around the empty spaces in Riga, I realised that the emptiness has inspired action and brought people together. I started to think about the empty state of mind - how do we become empty and is it possible to be full again? To answer these questions to myself, I created an empty party house, where people come together and share their emptiness.
