Important information prior to booking an exam

Dear students,

For exams conducted physically at Goethe-Institut Malaysia.

Please familiarize yourself with the additional terms and conditions as below. 

1. Submit a scanned copy of your IC/Passport by email to info-kl@goethe.de 10 working days before examination date at the latest.
2. Bring your original IC/Passport for identification by our invigilators. In case of difference in name between passport and identification card (for Malaysians only), please bring both original documents on the examination day.
3. Bring your own food and drinks for the exam break.
4. Punctually be at the institute 1 hour before the start of the exam. 
5. Please take note that mobile devices will be collected by examiners before the exam and they will only be returned after they finish with the exam.
6. You can find out the oral exam schedule by checking the list in the exam hall on the day of the exam.
7. For 21 October 2024 exam onwards, the exam results & certificate will be released after at least 14 working days.

*DIGITAL EXAM CERTIFICATE

Please log in to your MyGoethe.de account at www.goethe.de/ins/my/en/index.html following the stated download days for your respective exam dates.

Under the Exam section, you will find the registered exam date upon keying in your Customer Number as stated in your Booking Confirmation/Participation Confirmation.pdf.

The digital exam certificate is available for download and can be printed (in colour) by you directly. No certified true copies or legalisation is necessary for our digital exam certificates.

You may print in colour on regular A4 white paper (front & back) as many copies as necessary for your perusal. It is a valid document without signature which is informed to all relevant universities/institutions. We no longer provide the printed exam certificate.

Kindly be informed only candidates that passed the examination (or individual modules) will automatically receive the digital exam certificate.
