Hendarto Setiadi

Hendarto Setiadi has been freelancing as a translator from German and English into Indonesian since 1986. He had a very different professional background, but had the good fortune to be born in Germany and raised bilingual. He has received several Goethe-Institut translation grants to date and participated twice in the Goethe-Institut Seoul’s Social Translating Project. He lives with his family in Bogor, near Jakarta, the Indonesian capital.
