requirements 

High School students may apply to participate in the Study Bridge Program if they meet the following requirements:
  • highly motivated to study in Germany, demonstrated through a personal statement, participation in extracurricular activities (e.g. student Olympiads, competitions, as well as regional and international projects in STEM subjects)
  • completed freshmen year of high school at the time of application
  • in American school system for the past six years at least
  • above-average academic achievements in STEM subjects
  • proof of German language skills (A1 level or higher)
  • written consent from the parents or legal guardians
  • Consent Form

process

  • Application deadline for starting the program for starting A1 and A2 students in 2023:  Rolling
  • Application deadline for starting the program with module 4 (B2 level of German) in June 2024: May 14, 2024
  • Application deadline for starting the program with Module 3 (B1 level of German) in September 2023: July 1, 2024

  • Motivation Letter
  • Proof of extracurricular activities (if applicable)
  • Proof of household income if applying for a scholarship
