Multimedia presentation by Danielle de Picciotto
In conjunction with the exhibition Brilliant Dilletantes, join musician and artist Danielle de Picciotto for a multimedia presentation on Berlin in the years spanning 1989 to 1995.
Based on de Picciotto’s experience in the wild Berlin of the1980s and 90s, the talk traces the incredible fall of the Berlin Wall at the turn of the decade and the beginning of a new era with political, cultural, digital and social upsurges.
About Danielle de Picciotto
Artist and musician Danielle de Picciotto is co-founder of the Love Parade and Ocean Club, together with Gudrun Gut, and initiator of countless events, exhibitions and projects in Berlin since 1987.
Danielle de Picciotto also performs from her album “Deliverance” on November 14 at The Flat.
The exhibition Brilliant Dilletantes is on view at Goethe Pop Up Houston from November 1 – December 14.
