Professional training courses for Goethe-Institut examiners

Goethe-Institut examinations are conducted exclusively by Goethe-Institut certified examiners whose qualification consists of both training courses and an online certification process on a regular basis. The training courses introduce the examiners to the exam’s content and format to prepare them for the certification. Trainings must be refreshed every three years per examiner/exam. They are offered in an online format consisting of two webinars (2h each) and a two-week tutored online phase (workload of of up to 6h/week).

The Goethe-Institut examiner certification process – performed online - assesses the examiner’s testing proficiency in comparison with all Goethe-Institut examiners worldwide. It must be renewed every five years per examiner/exam. Register exclusively via the Goethe-Institut branch office responsible for the examination center.
