Dear Goethe-Institut Los Angeles patrons,

for more than 20 years the Goethe-Institut Los Angeles’ non-profit support organization, the Friends of Goethe, has supported the Goethe-Institut’s cultural programming in Los Angeles and Southern California.
The German Currents Film Festival, is just the tip of the iceberg. As you may already know, the Goethe-Institut’s regular programming includes weekly film screenings, performances by European dance troupes, concerts, literary readings, world-class art exhibits, important German and European speakers, and much more.

By becoming a member of the Friends of Goethe, or through your tax-deductible contribution, you directly assist the Goethe-Institut in bringing the best of Germany to Los Angeles.
In addition to the satisfaction of knowing that your contributions enrich Southern California’s cultural scene, membership benefits include free or discounted admission to events presented by the Goethe-Institut, as well as events presented with partners.
All members receive an invitation to the annual German Currents Film Festival opening night gala.
