Hannah Arendt - Her ideas Changed the World
Hannah Arendt an observer at the trial against Adolf Eichman. She expects a cruel monster but instead finds herself confronted with a banal bureaucrat. The film is a reflective portrait of a courageous and determined woman, the philosopher Hannah Arendt (1906-1975). While the biopic mostly focusses on Arendts’ observation and assessment of the trial, it is also an intimate portrayal of German-Jewish immigrants in 1960’s New York.
