Would you like to experience Germany or establish contact with German institutions? We offer services like information about scholarships, our translation program and studying in Germany.

The eLibrary is a digital service offered by the Goethe-Institut Kanada. This service allows you to borrow digital media, such as ebooks, audio and video files, and electronic newspapers and magazines, for a predetermined period of time, by downloading them from our eLibrary.

Our translation funding programme supports the publication of books by German authors in another language.

Our film archive contains more than 650 films in DVD format (PAL). Films can be rented for non commercial screenings by educational institutions, such as schools, colleges and universities, as well as cultural institutions, such as art galleries, cinematheques and museums. 

The Goethe-Institut Montréal, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and Circuit-Est centre chorégraphique are pleased to offer a choreography residency of two months to two German artists.

The Goethe-Institut conveys an up-to-date image of the diversity of music in Germany and initiates dialogue and exchange between artists at home and abroad.

Monument Lab in partnership with Goethe-Institut and Federal Agency for Civic Education invites applications for a 2020 cohort of Monument Lab Transnational Fellows. 

The Montreal and Toronto branches of the DAAD can answer your questions in Canada. Their main job is to allocate scholarships to university members from Canada.
