Scholarships for teachers of German in Canada

The Goethe-Institut in Canada awards scholarships for participation in language courses and professional development seminars (e.g. cultural studies, German as a foreign language theory and practice) in Germany. You may apply for a Goethe-Institut scholarship if you are a teacher of German as a foreign language or are involved in the teacher training of such teachers; this also applies if you work at a PASCH school.

The link to all 2025 courses and seminars (in-person and blended learning) in Germany can be found here: Portfolio 2025

Since 2024 we use Limesurvey for scholarship applications. The link to apply for scholarships for 2025 can be found below. The application deadline is 10/31/2024.

Please note: If you have received a Goethe-Institut scholarship between now and 2021, you are not eligible to apply for another scholarship until four years have passed since receiving the last scholarship.

Please send your application electronically to the Goethe-Institut responsible for you by October 31, 2024.
