Scholarships for teachers of German in Canada
The Goethe-Institut in Canada awards scholarships for participation in language courses and professional development seminars (e.g. cultural studies, German as a foreign language theory and practice) in Germany. You may apply for a Goethe-Institut scholarship if you are a teacher of German as a foreign language or are involved in the teacher training of such teachers; this also applies if you work at a PASCH school.The link to all 2025 courses and seminars (in-person and blended learning) in Germany can be found here: Portfolio 2025
Since 2024 we use Limesurvey for scholarship applications. The link to apply for scholarships for 2025 can be found below. The application deadline is 10/31/2024.
Please note: If you have received a Goethe-Institut scholarship between now and 2021, you are not eligible to apply for another scholarship until four years have passed since receiving the last scholarship.
