In-person courses

There will be 8 to 16 participants in your course. 

Our German courses are based on the levels defined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

B1	B1.1, B1.2, B1.3, B1.4
B2	B2.1, B2.2, B2.3, B2.4
C1	C1.1, C1.2, C1.3, C1.4

If your goal is to pass an exam, we recommend completing all sublevels in the exam level before you register. For example, in order to take the A1 exam, we recommend completing A1.1, A1.2, and A1.3.
 

In a regular course, which takes place at the Goethe-Institut, meetings are 180 minutes long. There will be a 15-minute break in the middle of the course.

For an in-person course at the Goethe-Institut, you will need to purchase a textbook. You will receive the necessary information about the textbook from the language course office before the course starts. You don't have to buy any course material for the conversation course.

In a regular in-person course, which takes place entirely at the Goethe-Institut, you have homework to do after each meeting, which can take 1-2 hours in total.
