From slapstick comedy to biting satire and bittersweet comedy, this cycle offers a varied and original look at our lives, oscillating between lightness and depth. Discover Chiennes de vies (Belgium), a work with an incisive tone, Wild Mouse (Austria) and its wry humor, Il reste encore demain (Italy) with its poignant reflections, Ciao-ciao Bourbine (Switzerland) and its irresistible tenderness, the gentle insouciance of À l'abordage (France) and finally When Will It Be Again Like It Never Was Before (Germany), tinged with amused nostalgia.
These screenings are part of the cycle of contemporary European films organized by the EUNIC Montreal pole, in collaboration with the Austrian Cultural Forum in Ottawa, the French Consulate General in Quebec City, the Swiss Consulate General in Montreal, the Délégation générale Wallonie-Bruxelles au Québec/Canada, the Italian Cultural Institute in Montreal, the Goethe-Institut Montreal and the Alliance Française de Montréal.
