In August, under the sunlit skies of southern Italy, Helena, Adam, and their son Finn vacation with close friends and their child. Anticipating a perfect getaway, their plans are shattered when Finn suddenly collapses on the way back from the beach. At the hospital, Finn remains silent about the cause of his collapse. The unexplained incident strains the once-close friendship between the two families and exposes underlying tensions in Helena and Adam’s relationship. The eight-day holiday becomes a turbulent period, revealing deep-seated secrets and casting a shadow over what was meant to be a serene and idyllic retreat.
