#Gtopia: Game Kitchen

Game Kitchen will open in the physical space - welcome to Current Plans, the art space located in Sham Shui Po. While the sharing will start at 8 PM, the space will be open from 4 PM. Come early if you are free and play some game together.

The event will also be streamed live online. If you want to join the online viewing room, please register here.
Many of us are convinced that we can’t make music. Music is an art form, but it's not a mystery. We spend our lives surrounded by music, and we absorb a lot more of it than we think. Music is a language, and we can all speak it.

Can you count to 4? If you can do that, then you can make music. The hardest part of making music is believing that you can do it. This workshop will show you how you can make music using only a laptop and some free, easily found software.

The workshop will introduce you to the basic building blocks of digital music: synthesis and sequencing. You will learn about DAWs, VSTs, MIDI and other acronyms that will help you discover the limitless universe of digital music creation.

You will learn how to use programs and other software to create music that sounds like a ‘real’ musician made it. The workshop is an introduction to making music, but it’s only a starting point for your imagination. Join us and start learning how to make your own music.
