Further to the
Goethe Disco Night and the
DJ dialogue on August 10, Hans Nieswandt will be hosting the first A2B vinyl listening and storytelling session at Eaton Hong Kong on August 11, 2024 (Sun). The DJ, music producer, lecturer and one of Germany's most influential music journalist has selected a few quintessential German records to speak on at length, specifically NEU's album from 1971. The album, with its pop art cover design and forward thinking musicianship, is considered to be one of the most iconic and influential German albums of all time.
Hans will add context to the era that produced the album, what later works in the realm of electonica and punk that were inspired by it as well as the effect it has had on his work through the years.
