© Surajit Biswas Surajit Biswas, a Baroda-based artist has a BFA (2012) and MFA (2014) in Painting from Visva Bharati University, West Bengal. His works have been exhibited in galleries such as Emami Chisel Art Gallery, Ganges Art Gallery, Birla Academy of Art and Culture, Kolkata, Art Konsult, Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi and Gallery Beyond, Mumbai. Surajit had two solo shows at Prak-Sis Contemporary Art Association, Chicago and MSU Gallery, Baroda (2017) and has participated in art fairs including the India Art Fair in New Delhi (2019); the Affordable Art Fair (2018); London and Affordable Art Fair at MOG, Goa (2018) and Affordable Art Fair Singapore (2016).© Surajit Biswas Surajit is an artist whose work is abstract, utilizing dots and lines to perceive his surroundings. He is currently working with jute sticks as an expression of his family's history with pre-independence jute mills and their subsequent closure. He will work with jute.
