Following the publication of the Sketchbooks – 1946-1949 and 1966-1971 - a revised version of Max Frisch’s Berlin journal covering the years 1973 to 1980 was published posthumously in 2014. While the author himself had imposed a retention period, the entries in the journal had already been written for publication. In addition to daily observations, the journal includes portraits of contemporaries such as Günter Grass und Christa Wolf.
