Isabel Fargo Cole
After graduating from the University of Chicago in 1995, Isabel Fargo Cole has lived in Berlin as a freelance writer and translator. In 2013 she received a PEN/Heim Translation Fund Grant to translate Franz Fühmann's “At the Burning Abyss” (“Vor Feuerschlünden”) for Seagull Books. Since 2006 she has also co-edited “One Man’s Land”, the online journal of new German literature in translation.
