For German learners from India, Nepal, Sri Lanka & Pakistan we are organising a youth camp in Panadura, Sri Lanka from 27.09 - 01.10.2023. The camp will take place within the framework of our ongoing international project JuniorUni.The German Digital JuniorUni is a free online learning platform for young people. It empowers students to find answers to the most exciting questions from the fields of robotics, space, energy, sustainability, nature, and technology—all while learning the German language.
WHAT IS THE THEME OF THE CAMP?
During the camp, we will work on the topics of the JuniorUni in a playful way. We are particularly pleased that the science expert Joachim Hecker will accompany us and inspire us with his workshops and science shows. Participants will even have the opportunity to put on science shows themselves. We will also discuss the topics of interculturality and regional studies in workshops.Where does the youth camp take place?
The location of the youth camp is Jie Jie Beach by Jetwing in Panadura, Sri Lanka. Located not too far from the main city of Colombo, it is a real tropical getaway. Participants will be accommodated in 3-bedded rooms and will be provided with 3 meals per day including coffee and tea breaks.WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
The youth camp is aimed at German learners from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka & Nepal between the ages of 14 and 16. Registration is done through the German teachers at the schools. How is the participation financed?
