Workshop series introducing philosophical concepts
Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Kolkata is pleased to announce their new workshop series "#mitDenken – PhilosophyTalks". As this year marks the 300th birth anniversary of the famous German philosopher – Immanuel Kant, it gives us the perfect opportunity to celebrate his ideas. The workshop series aims at introducing everyday philosophical concepts to school students. On the last day, our young philosophers will conduct a class for their teachers and parents and introduce them to the wonderful world of philosophy!

Target Audience:
- Children and teenagers aged 12-16, by invitation for our partner schools.
Workshop Highlights:
- Interactive Sessions: Participants will engage with philosophical concepts through a variety of creative and interactive activities.
- Intercultural Awareness: Discussions will center around Kant’s ideologies and their relevance in today's life.
- Critical Thinking: Encouragement of independent thought through thought experiments, emphasizing that there are no right or wrong answers in philosophy.
- Individual Reflection and Expression: Guidance on methods for reflecting on personal thoughts and emotions, and expressing them respectfully.
- Empathy and Sensitivity: Emphasis on developing empathy and sensitivity, critical skills for the 21st century.
