Seven years of a couple's relationship, told in 15 closed chapters: sometimes tragic, sometimes funny; from the slow creeping in of everyday routine to the moment of happiness after a birth; from passionate moments of togetherness to gruelling thoughts of separation. The states of mind of city dwellers in their 30s.

Dietrich Brüggemann was born 1976 in Munich. After growing up in Germany and South Africa, he worked in the film industry in various capacities from 1997-2000 and subsequently enrolled in the directing class at the College of Film and Television at Potsdam-Babelsberg. "Neun Szenen", being his feature film debut, screened 2006 at the Berlinale in the Perspektive Deutsches Kino section and was honoured with the Studio Hamburg Young Talent Award.

For age group 18 years and above.
