22nd Kalpanirjhar International Short Fiction Film Festival 2025

We’re delighted to return with the much-anticipated Kalpanirjhar International Short Fiction Film Festival 2025! This year’s edition promises a vibrant selection of compelling short fiction films from India and around the world, screened over five days.

Jointly presented by the Kalpanirjhar Foundation and Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Kolkata, and supported by Akar Prakar and Artvarta, the festival is one of India’s longest-running and most respected platforms for short fiction films. It continues to serve as a dynamic space for discovering new voices and cinematic talent from across the globe.

All screenings are open to all on a first-come, first-served basis until seats are full.
