The Short Life of Anne Frank
In the documentary The Short Life of Anne Frank the story of her life is told through quotations from her diary, unique photographs from the Frank Family albums and historical film extracts.
The screening will be followed by a brief interaction by
Meena Megha Malhotra from
PeaceWorks—An initiative of The Seagull Foundation for the Arts. PeaceWorks is India and Bangladesh partner for Anne Frank House, Amsterdam.

Painting Workshop
Umbrella and kite painting workshop with the students of
Jewish Girls School, Kolkata. 25 students of age group 12-15 years will participate in the painting workshop conducted by artist
Eleena Banik.
In addition to learning how to coordinate with each other and share the joy of painting together in a group, the participating children will also have the opportunity to place their signatures next to their respective creations.
The art works will be exhibited in the library for a week.
Eleena Banik has been awarded the senior fellowship from Ministry of Culture in 2017 for her project ‘Art in Public Space by Children’. She has been conducting workshops for children and guiding them towards art-practice both in indoor and outdoor spaces.
