Tandemcafé under cherry blossoms

We would like to invite you to a special edition of our Tandem Café on Saturday, March 29th. This time, we will meet outside the institute for a small Hanami to enjoy the cherry blossom season together and improve our German and Japanese language skills through conversation in a cozy atmosphere.
The Hanami Tandem Café will be followed by 'Board Game Club' - a games afternoon in the library. Anyone who would like to spend more time together or try out new games is welcome to join in after the talk sessions.

Schedule:

• Icebreaker games
• Discussion rounds on (free or predetermined) topics

Participants will be assigned to groups at regular intervals to make new acquaintances and practice the language in a relaxed setting. Any native speaker of Japanese or German who is interested in learning or practicing the other language is welcome, regardless of language level. The Tandem Meeting is suitable for both beginners and advanced learners.

[In order to keep the ratio of native Japanese to native German speakers at a constant level, we have closed applications from native Japanese speakers (applications from native German speakers are still being accepted). The next Tandem Café will take place in May. We look forward to seeing you there.]
