Theater production by Umudiho Collective

"Imana Y’umudiho" is a musical theatre play about traditional African rhythms and drums and the influence they have had around global genres.
Third of its experience, Umudiho collective intends to use theater as a tool to embrace and celebrate African rhythms, as they already did through their dance performance “Nahuye n’Umudiho" ("I met the rhythm"), which was launched last year as one of the projects from the Open Call for Artistic Projects 2023. "Imana Y'umudiho" also intends to serve as an educational platform for everyone who is interested in learning about Rwandan and African rhythms in general.

This two hour long theater play will be nurtured by its accompanying artistic installation which is created in a rhythmic sense. Do not miss on this adventure and spread the word!
