The physical mapping process for the municipality included both theoretical and practical aspects for two months. Experts, along with the educational component of the developed mapping methodology, mentored the municipality’s working group through each step of the process.
A detailed list of buildings and spaces was created. To collect information about these objects, research was conducted through inter-sectoral cooperation, fieldwork, and photofilming. The gathered data was then analyzed and recorded on a digital map, and the results were presented.

Physical Mapping Results
In Ozurgeti Municipality, 38 objects were identified. The biggest categories are cultural and creative centers - 28%, 26% are industrial and production infrastructure, 16% are educational and research institutions, 13% are administrative facilities, and transport, sports, and commercial infrastructure each account for 3%.
The usage of listed properties follows as 26% in active use, 24% partially utilized, and 50% as nonfunctional.
The structural conditions of the mapped buildings are 55% structurally stable, 13% lightly damaged, and 24% structurally damaged.
The form of ownership of objects is distributed as follows: 50% private ownership, 16% state ownership, 32% municipal ownership, and 2% mixed ownership. The majority of these properties are registered.
Among the many interesting objects in the municipality, the following stand out: Rudo Factory, Tea Factory N2, Old Cinema, Silk Factory, Anaseuli Research Institutes, Likhauri Club, Makvaneti Club, former collective farm buildings in Natanebi and Shroma, former kindergarten of Natanebi, former barn of the mill combine.
