Physical Mapping Results

Creative Compass Georgia has supported 35 municipalities (excluding Tbilisi) across 10 regions of the country to conduct comprehensive infrastructure mapping and create a centralized database.

Each municipality received financial support along with guidance from a team of experts who developed a standardized physical mapping methodology and mentored local authorities in the process.

Creative Compass

The database highlights a variety of infrastructural resources, including cultural infrastructure and abandoned industrial buildings and spaces, across different municipalities. It aims to raise awareness about the condition, usage, functions, and ownership status of these cultural, industrial, and architectural assets. In addition to creative spaces, the database also features areas that have not been developed or used for creative purposes before.

The webpage presents profiles of 35 municipalities, grouped by the regions of the country.
