First, there's a dead rat hanging on the door of Xhafer's house. Then, his emails stop being received. The signs of bullying and harassment at work increase for this pharmaceutical engineer from Kosovo, who has been well-integrated into German society for years. Despite his wife's and colleagues' disbelief, Xhafer feels increasingly outcast. Or is he losing touch with reality? In his second feature film, director Visar Morina explores the psychological effects of social exclusion. Through subtle imagery and meticulous performances, Morina depicts the fragile balance between belonging and alienation and highlights the cracks that can appear in one's identity when integrating into a new society.
