Wieland Hoban
Wieland Hoban studierte Musik und Germanistik an der Universität in Bristol. Das Studium der Komposition führte ihn nach Frankfurt, wo er erste eigene Artikel sowie Übersetzungen im Bereich Musik-Analyse in Fachzeitschriften veröffentlichte. Im Jahr 2000 begann er, regelmäßig für Zeitschriften wie „Musik & Ästhetik“, „Fragmen“ und die Buchreihe „New Music & Aesthetics in the 21st Century“ zu schreiben. Er arbeitet auch als Dolmetscher bei den Internationalen Ferienkursen für Neue Musik des Internationalen Musikinstituts Darmstadt. Neben dem Übersetzen zählt das Komponieren zu seinen Haupttätigkeiten, für die er bereits mehrere Preise erhalten hat.
