A book that stands out particularly in the idiosyncrasy of Aichinger’s oeuvre as a whole. Experimental prose is divided into two parts. The first part contains short texts that are more reflections than narratives; in the second part, they are like prose poems. The writing is always characterised by a particular aesthetic, the tone fluctuating between opposing emotional states.
