100 Years of Kafka

Kafka foresaw the grey, hallucinatory power of the machine. In this workshop, 'AI and Kafka,' participants will be introduced to AI image creators like Midjourney and Dall-E. They will then immerse themselves in Franz Kafka’s short prose to depict his surreal, enigmatic literary world as images. Participants will choose from three stories, which will be announced in advance. They will interpret Kafka’s stories literally or figuratively, turning his narratives into graphic art using AI tools. The graphic stories produced will be published on the Goethe-Institut website, and image copyright will belong to the creators.
