Ireland is delighted to share so many cultural connections with Germany. Over the decades these have been fostered through the support of the Goethe Institut for a wide range of events in Ireland, including exhibitions, concerts, theatre and dance performances and a strong outreach programme. In a unique way the Goethe Institut has embedded itself in the cultural infrastructure of Ireland.  A true landmark of course is the fantastic restoration of a Georgian building in Dublin’s centre. This cultural hub, which serves to bring people together to enhance their learning, reflects the generous and long term commitment of the Goethe Institut to Ireland.
