Description

There are many different kinds of Mammals: Form Bears and Apes to bats and others. In this issue of the Lino-macht-MINT magazine, learners of German therefor first learn what a Mammal is an which traits they have in commen. Furthermore, the learners activly learn which mammals live in in which parts of the world. There are also interactive grafics which the learners can use to learn the details of the skeletons of mammals, espacially their teeth. At the end learners find out how different mammlas move: either by land, sea or air.


The learning objectives are:
 
  • to introduce learners to the topic of mammals and to communicate general and technical knowledge.
  • to be able to communicate in writing simple facts from their own horizon of experience in the subject area "mammals”
  • to acquire basic vocabulary and technical terms and use them in a factual and contextual manner.
  • to provide information on familiar subject matter in simple sentences, ask questions and respond to queries.
  • to extract essential technical information from didactic reading texts, supported by linguistic and methodological aids.
  • to investigate everyday experiences and culturally specific features in the subject area "mammals" and to be able to discuss them in the appropriate language register
